The New Home Page Is Live: Engage Members From the Moment They Log In

The members Home Page is the one screen every member sees, every time they log in. It's such an important part of the member experience. We wanted to give you more options for what it shows, so you can better guide and engage everyone who logs in.

That matters more than it sounds. A member who logs in without a clear next step tends to drift off. They watch less, post less and get fewer results, and members who don't get results rarely buy from you again.

So we rebuilt it from the ground up.

The new home page is made of blocks, each with one job. They're all on by default, and each one hides itself when it has nothing to show. A course site, a community site or a mix of both always gets a complete page. Here's what your members now see.

Continue Learning shows each member the course they can start, the lesson they're up to or the course they've just finished. One click takes them straight back in, so momentum doesn't stall between visits.

If you're running a promotion on the Home Page, it now sits right below Continue Learning. Every member sees it each time they log in, not just the ones who open your emails.

Latest Products shows your most recently added products. Members see the ones they own and the ones they don't, with a lock and a prompt to find out more. Prefer to show only what each member owns? One toggle switches that off.

What's Happening shows the three most recent posts from the communities each member can access, with a prompt to share or ask something. Seeing other members talking is often the nudge someone needs to join in.

Meet the Members shows a row of member faces with a short message and a link to your member directory. You choose whether it features recently joined or recently active members.

Got a Question? lets members message you straight from the home page, with up to two links of your own, such as your help centre or FAQs. A quick answer at the right moment can be the difference between a member staying and cancelling.

The new Home Page is live now on every Kourses plan, and it's already switched on for your site. There's nothing to set up, but it's worth a look. Go to Website > Homepage to change the greeting, choose which blocks show and edit the text on each one.

Members who stay engaged watch more, get better results and keep their membership for longer. And they're the ones who buy from you again.
